Palpebration

I am facing problem with the left eye these days. It keep on winking for long duration like 1 hr and this happens many times a day.
prbly, palpebration might be correct term instead of winking.
More clarification.. meri left eye continuation mein phadak rahi hai.
Can pls tell if this is something serios.
